Known as the "Land of Ice and Fire", Argentina is a country rich in culture, which is why museums are so amazing there. The capital city of Buenos Aires is actually very sophisticated and brimming with class and character, making it the perfect place for nightlife, art galleries, restaurants, and museums. Although there are too many to cover in this article, we are providing you with some information on some of the most impressive museums in Argentina.

First, we will talk about the benefits of visiting Museo de Arte LatinoAmericano de Buenos Aires, which is a museum that first opened in the fall of 2001. Museo de Arte LatinoAmericano, Buenos Aires This non-profit institution has a wonderful display of the Costantini Collection, coupled with a fascinating cultural center that changes exhibitions and cultural activities ongoing. Within this collection, there are more than 200 words that include paintings, drawings, objects, and sculptures all created by 78 different artists from Colombia, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, and other South American countries.

Next is the Centro Cultural Borges (photo to the right), which is a wonderful exhibition center for music, theater, film, the fine arts, video, Cultural Borges workshops, seminars, international auctions, teleconferences, interactive presentations, and other forms of media using state of the art technology. The Museo de Arte Espanol Enrique Laretta is another museum that has a collection based on Argentinean Hispanist and writer, Enrique Laretta. There, you will enjoy a diverse display of furniture, sculptures, paintings, ceramics, and other pieces of art dating from the 16th and 17th centuries, along with pieces from both Middle Ages and the early part of the 20th century.

A couple other fine museums include Museo Nacional de Arte Decorativo and Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes. For the first museum, you will discover an amazing place that is a French style villa that opened in 1918. The museum is filled with European tapestries, sculptures, furniture, and paintings, as well as some decorative Chinese art forms from the 17th and 18th centuries. Finally, the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes opened in 1896. This is a great place to add to your list, which features more than 11,000 works of art, many to include French paintings from the 19th century.
