The Protea Hotel Umhlanga is a modern nine-floor hotel located in the heart of the Umhlanga Rocks, north of Durban and 500 metres from a protected beach on the Sugar Coast. There are 120 guestrooms all of which enjoy a sea view and benefit from air-conditioning. The hotel is approximately 40 kilometres or a 30-minute drive from Durban Airport.

At The Top Of The Off Ramp Turn Left Again. Continue Straight Ahead Over The Roundabout And Then At The Roundabout After Umhlanga Hospital Turn Right. At The Third Set Of Traffic Lights Turn Right. The First Entrance On The Left Hand Side Leads To The Hotel's Parking, Found On The 3rd Floor.
