	Click photo to view                  Location. The Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort sits less than one kilometer from the Royal Cabana Casino in Oranjestad, Aruba. The resort is located about 5 kilometers from downtown Orangjestad, where many restaurants, shops, bars and nightclubs exist. Low humidity and infrequent rain make for a near perfect climate that compliments some of the best beaches in the Caribbean. Active pursuits include golfing, tennis, horseback riding, biking, scuba diving, snorkeling and windsurfing.
Hotel Features. Every Thursday evening the resort hosts a complimentary cocktail party for guests, and on Fridays there is a barbeque buffet and Caribbean cultural show (surcharges may apply). The resort has an outdoor pool surrounded by a sundeck and a poolside bar. A grocery/sundries shop is on the property and the 24-hour front desk staff can assist with concierge, dry cleaning, currency exchange and tour assistance. Complimentary high-speed Internet access is available in public areas and guest laundry facilities are located on site. Guestrooms. The resort offers studio, one- and two-bedroom accommodations with furnished balconies. Each unit has either a kitchenette or a full kitchen with a range, a refrigerator and a microwave oven. Rooms are booked as all-inclusive or under the European plan, which includes no meals. Dial-up Internet access is offered and all rooms feature cable television and in-room safes. Expert Tip. Snorkeling is particularly fabulous on the leeward (western) coast of the island, with shipwrecks, sunken planes and coral reefs waiting to be explored. Submarine and glass-bottom boat excursions are available for those who prefer to experience the wonders of the sea without getting wet.
